Gaza genocide rages on
The Israeli war machine is claiming more Palestinian civilian lives in the Gaza Strip. Israeli attacks on Gaza have killed 52 Palestinians and wounded more than 200 others in a matter of 24 hours. A deadly strike hit a UN-run school in southern Khan Younis, killing at least 20 civilians. The school housed displaced people. The Israeli military also bombed a residential bloc in the southern city of Rafah, destroying several houses there. Israeli snipers also killed 2 Palestinians and injured 5 in Rafah. In al-Mawasi refugee camp, at least 10 Palestinians were murdered as well. There have also been fatalities in the regime’s airstrikes on Gaza city and the al-Nuseirat refugee camp. The Israeli genocidal war has so far claimed over 45,000 Palestinian lives, and injured nearly 107,000 others.
Ireland anti-Israel stance
The Irish prime minister says in response to the Israeli regime closing its embassy in his country that Ireland cannot be silenced. Simon Harris says what Netanyahu is doing to innocent lives in Gaza is "utterly despicable". The Irish foreign minister stressed his country is simply calling for accountability and a ceasefire. Foreign minister Michael Martin also stressed that any action taken by the Irish government has solely been motivated by respect for international humanitarian law and human rights. He described the horrific crimes being committed in northern Gaza as being beyond any moral compass and urged the Israeli regime to allow media into the besieged Strip so the world can bear witness to what is happening there. The Irish foreign minister had announced last week that Ireland would formally join South Africa’s genocide case against the Israeli regime following government approval.
Yemen reprisal attack
Missiles fired from Yemen shake the Israeli Occupied Territories. In a fresh operation by Yemeni Armed Forces, three missiles targeted several Israeli positions in the occupied territories. According to Israeli media, the aerial raid has forced millions of Israelis into shelters. Chaos has also been reported at the Ben Gurion Airport where flights were grounded. The attack has also resulted in alarms blaring at a courthouse trying the regime’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu over corruption charges. Yemen has vowed to continue such operations until Israel stops its genocidal war on Gaza.
