Several Israeli settlers were injured after a ballistic missile launched from Yemen targeted strategic installations in central Israeli-occupied territories, triggering sirens.

According to Israeli Channel 14, the settlers were slightly injured while running to shelters.

Rocket sirens sounded in Tel Aviv and dozens of cities and towns across the central side of the occupied lands

The Israeli military alleged in a statement that the ballistic missile was intercepted by missile defense systems.

It further claimed that the missile was shot down before penetrating the skies over the occupied territories.

The spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces later announced in a statement that the country’s missile units had carried out a military operation against an Israeli military target in Tel Aviv, using a hypersonic Palestine 2 ballistic missile.

Brigadier General Yahya Saree noted that the missile strike came in support of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, and could successfully attain its desired objectives.

The Yemeni Armed Forces will continue their operations, and will strike all Israeli facilities within the occupied territories. Such strikes will not stop unless the ongoing aggression on Gaza stops and the siege is completely lifted, Saree pointed out.

Earlier on Sunday morning, a drone launched from Yemen was purportedly shot down by an Israeli Navy missile boat over the Mediterranean Sea.

Yemenis have declared their open support for Palestine’s struggle against the Israeli occupation since the regime launched a devastating war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, after the territory’s resistance movements carried out Operation Al-Aqsa Flood against the occupying entity.

The Yemeni armed forces have said they will not stop their attacks until Israel’s ground and aerial offensives in Gaza end.

Israel has killed more than 45,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, in Gaza.

Yemen’s Ansarullah resistance movement maintains that it targets ships linked to Israel, the United States, or the United Kingdom to force an end to the Tel Aviv regime’s genocidal war on Gaza.

In October, the US military unleashed B-2 stealth bombers to bomb Yemen in support of Israel.
