Hamas chief martyrdom

The Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, has confirmed the martyrdom of its leader, Yahya Sinwar, in an Israeli attack in the Gaza Strip. Hayya said Sinwar’s martyrdom will further strengthen the resistance, which is rooted in the Palestinian people. He said Hamas would continue its path until the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with the occupied al-Quds as its capital. Hayya said there would be no change in Hamas’s stance in the Gaza ceasefire negotiations. He vowed the Israeli captives would not be released until the Israeli aggression against Gaza stops, the regime withdraws its forces from the strip and Palestinian prisoners return home.

Slamming Israel

Reactions are pouring in following the martyrdom of Hamas leader, Yahya Sinwar. The Islamic Jihad movement said Sinwar’s martyrdom will only bolster the Palestinian resolve to resist the Israeli aggression until victory. Iran’s President, Masoud Pezeshkian, praised Sinwar for his courageous fight against occupation, stressing his unwavering commitment until the very end. Iran's foreign ministry condemned Sinwar's killing as part of Israel’s ongoing terror campaign against resistance leaders, emphasizing the complicity of the regime’s Western allies. The commander of Iran's Revolution Guards Corps Major General Hossein Salami said Sinwar was martyred while actively fighting on the battlefield, countering Israel’s claims that he was hiding in Gaza tunnels. The Hezbollah resistance movement also said the top Hamas leader stood up against the American plots and Israeli occupation and sacrificed his life on this path. Yemen’s Ansarullah movement stressed that martyrdom would boost the resistance fighters’ determination to continue their path until victory.

US-Israel genocide in Gaza

Israel has bombed different areas across the Gaza Strip, killing more Palestinian civilians. Nearly 30 people have lost their lives in the latest airstrikes that have hit Gaza City as well as Shati and Jabalia refugee camps, both north of the strip. The Jabalia refugee camp remains under Israeli siege for 14 straight days now. That has blocked civilians’ access to food and medicine. Israel waged its war on Gaza in October last year. So far, over 42,500 people have been killed in Gaza. More than 99,500 others have been injured. In the meantime, Israel claims that it has killed Hamas political leader Yahya Sinwar in a Wednesday attack on Gaza. Hamas has not confirmed his martyrdom yet.
