Aug 16: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid Israel's genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed over 40,050 Palestinians so far, the majority of them children, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The major operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Friday, August 16, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades’ operations on August 16:

• Targeted the "Nirim" military site with short-range "Rajoom" rockets of 114mm caliber.
• Targeted the “Mivtahim” complex with 114 mm short-range ‘Rajoom’ rockets.
• Targeted Israeli military positions in the "Netzarim" axis with short-range 114mm ‘Rajoom’ rockets.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades’ operations on August 16:

• Targeted Israeli forces and their military vehicles stationed on the Palestinian-Egyptian border with mortar shells.
• Targeted gatherings of Israeli soldiers and military vehicles in the "Netzarim" axis with 107mm rockets.
• Targeted a command and control headquarters of the Israeli military in the "Netzarim" axis with heavy-caliber mortar shells.
• Sniped an Israeli soldier that was barricaded inside a home east of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.

Mujahideen Brigades’ operations on August 16:

• Targeted gatherings of Israeli forces and their military convoys in Talat al-Kurd, east of Deir al-Balah, with two Haseb 111 rockets.
• Detonated a barrel explosive device in an Israeli military troop carrier of the type M113 east of Khirbet Al-Adas, east of Rafah city, southern Gaza Strip.

Al-Nasser Salah al-din Brigades’ operations on August 16:

• In a joint operation with the Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, targeted the Israeli military’s command and control site in the "Netzarim" axis with 107mm rockets.

Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces’ operations on August 16:

• Targeted Israeli forces that infiltrated the vicinity of the Swedish village, west of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, with mortar shells.

Al-Asifah Forces’ operations on August 16:

• Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles with a barrage of mortar shells in the Abu Haddaf neighborhood, northeast of Khan Younis city.

Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades’ operations on August 16:

• In a joint operation with the Nasser Salah Al-Din Brigades, targeted the Israeli military’s command and control site in the "Netzarim" axis with 107-type rockets.

Hezbollah’s operations on August 16:

• Israeli soldiers were targeted at the Birkat Risha site with guided weapons.
• Israeli soldiers near the Meitat site were targeted with rockets.
• Israeli soldiers were targeted near the Jal al-Deir site with Falaq missiles.
• The al-Asi site was targeted with artillery shells.
• Military buildings in the Nat’u’a settlement were targeted with appropriate weapons.
• The headquarters of the 188th Brigade’s armored battalions in the “Rawiya” barracks was targeted with drones.
• Buildings used by Israeli enemy soldiers in the settlement of Metula with targeted with appropriate weapons.
• Artillery positions of the Israeli army in Al-Zaourah were targeted with rockets.
