Aug 13: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid Israel's genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed nearly 40,000 Palestinians so far, the majority of them children, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The major operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Tuesday, August 13, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades' operations on August 13:

  • In a tight ambush, detonated three tunnel entrances that had been previously booby-trapped against Israeli forces in the Tal Al-Sultan neighborhood, west of Rafah city, in the southern Gaza Strip.
  • In a joint operation with Al-Quds Brigades and Mujahideen Brigades, bombarded gatherings of Israeli forces east of the city of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip with a barrage of mortar shells.
  • In a joint operation with Al-Quds fighters yesterday, targeted and destroyed an Israeli military Merkava tank with a “Shuath” explosive device on Al-Quds street in Tal Al-Sultan neighborhood, west of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip.
  • Targeted Tel Aviv and its suburbs with two M90 rockets.
  • Targeted an Israeli military "Merkava" tank with an "Al-Yassin 105" shell in the Zalata area east of Rafah City, southern Gaza Strip.
  • Targeted an Israeli military Merkava tank with a barrel ground explosive in the Al-Zana area east of Khan Younis city in the southern Gaza Strip.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades' operations on August 13:

  • Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles with a barrage of mortar shells in the axes of penetration east of Khan Younis city, southern Gaza Strip.
  • Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles in the Abu Hadaf neighborhood, northeast of Khan Younis city, southern Gaza Strip, with a barrage of mortar shells.
  • Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles in the axis of advance northeast of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, with heavy-caliber mortar shells.
  • Engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli forces invading the Old Askar Camp, using machine guns and explosive devices.

 Al-Quds Brigades' operations on August 13:

  • Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles in the Abu Hadaf neighborhood, northeast of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, with a barrage of mortar shells.

Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces' operations on August 13:

  • Engaged in intense clashes with Israeli forces around George Street in the Al-Jenina neighborhood, east of Rafah city and destroyed one of the Israeli military’s "M113" vehicles with RPGs.
  • Targeted Israeli forces stationed northeast of Al-Qarara with heavy mortars.
  • Targeted an Israeli military position around the Japanese Garden in Tel Al-Sultan neighborhood, west of Rafah city, southern Gaza Strip, with heavy mortars.

Al-Nasser Salah Al-Din Brigades' operations on August 13:

  • The Tawheed Brigade shelled Israeli forces gathered around Tal Zorob, southwest of Rafah city, southern Gaza Strip, with several mortar shells.

Mujahideen Brigades' operations on August 13:

  • In a joint operation with the Al-Qassam Brigades and Al-Quds Brigades, targeted the gatherings of Israeli forces east of the city of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip with a barrage of mortar shells.
  • Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and a convoy of military vehicles in the "Netzarim" axis with medium-caliber mortar shells.

Hezbollah's operations on August 13:

  • Surveillance equipment at the Maskaf Aam site was targeted with appropriate weapons.
  • Israeli soldiers near the Meitat site were targeted with rockets.
  • Israeli soldiers near the Samaka site in Lebanon's Kfar Shuba were targeted with artillery shells.
  • Ruwaysat al-Alam site in Lebanon's Kfar Shouba was targeted with rockets.
  • Israeli soldiers at the Jal al-Deir site were targeted with rockets.
  • The Mount Neria base was targeted with Katyusha rockets.
