Aug 12: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid Israel's genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed more than 39,900 Palestinians so far, the majority of them children, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The major operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Monday, August 12, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades' operations on August 12:

• Targeted Israeli forces that had penetrated northeast of Khan Younis city in the southern Gaza Strip with mortar shells.
• Sniped an Israeli soldier with a Ghoul rifle in the Swedish Village in the Tal Al-Sultan neighborhood west of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

Al-Quds Brigades' operations on August 12:

• Targeted the command and control headquarters of the Israeli military advancing in the vicinity of Hill 86 "Al-Kurd" northeast of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, with 107mm rockets.
• In a joint operation with Al-Qassam Brigades, targeted and destroyed an Israeli military tank of the type Merkava-4 Baz using a highly explosive Thaqib directional bomb at the Abu Ayyash junction in the Tal Al-Sultan neighborhood west of Rafah city. 
• Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles that had penetrated the Al-Zana area east of Khan Younis city with a barrage of mortar shells.
• Ambushed Israeli soldiers and military vehicles in the Qarara area north of the city of Khan Younis in a field of mines and powerful ground explosive device. 

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades' operations on August 12:

• Targeted Israeli military vehicle with an RPG-85 in the axis of advancement in the Tal Al-Sultan neighborhood, west of Rafah city, southern Gaza Strip.
• Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and military vehicles in the incursion axis in the Al-Zana area, east of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, with a barrage of mortar shells.
• Targeted the Israeli military’s command headquarters and vehicle positions on the "Netzarim" axis with heavy-caliber mortar shells.

Mujahideen Brigades' operations on August 12:

• Targeted the "southern Gaza envelope" with two 107mm missiles.

Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces' operations on August 12:

• Targeted an Israeli military M-113 personnel carrier with an anti-armor RPG shell in the vicinity of George Street east of Rafah City.

Martyr Abdulqader Al-Husseini Brigades' operations on August 12:

• In a joint operation with the Al-Nasser Salah Al-Din Brigades, targeted the Israeli military’s command and control site in the “Netzarim” axis, south of Gaza City, with mortar shells and two short-range rockets
• In a joint operation with the Abdulqader Al-Husseini Brigades, targeted the Israeli military’s command and control site in the “Netzarim” axis, south of Gaza City, with mortar shells.

Hezbollah's operations on August 12:

• The newly established headquarters of the 146th Division in Jatoun was targeted with Katyusha rockets.
• Surveillance equipment at the Matla site was targeted with appropriate weapons.
• Samaka site in Lebanon's Kfar Shouba Hills was targeted with artillery shells.
• The Ruwaysat al-Alam site in Lebanon's Kfar Shouba hills was targeted with artillery shells.
• Israeli soldiers near the Hanita site were targeted with artillery shells.
• Al-Malikiyah site was targeted with missiles.
