Jordan foreign minister in Iran

Iran’s acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri has held talks with his Jordanian counterpart in Tehran. The visit by Ayman Safadi follows two recent phone consultations between the ministers regarding escalating tensions in the region. During his stay, Safadi is exchanging views with Iranian officials on regional and international issues. This meeting comes amid heightened tensions following Israel's assassination of Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran and its ongoing Gaza genocide. Iran has been actively engaging with several Arab nations, including Jordan, Egypt, and Qatar, to address the issues.

Yemen anti-US, Israel operation

The Yemeni armed forces say they have shot down an American drone while it was carrying out hostile acts in the northwestern Sa’ada region’s airspace. Yaha Saree said a ship named Groton was also successfully targeted in the Gulf of Aden for violating a ban imposed by Sana’a. The ban stipulates that the Yemeni army will target all ships heading to Israeli ports in the occupied Palestinian territories. Sana’a vows that it will continue such operations in solidarity with Palestinians and until the genocide in Gaza stops. The Arab country has targeted dozens of Israeli or Israeli-linked ships since mid-November.
