Gaza healthcare crisis
The Israeli regime's genocidal war on Gaza is still raging. According to the Gaza Health Ministry, the IOF has conducted 3 more massacres in a matter of 24 hours killing 27 more Palestinians and injuring 149 others. 4 Palestinians were killed following the bombardment of the Jebalya refugee camp, north of Gaza. Meanwhile, the World Health Organization says Al-Ahli Hospital and Al-Wafa Rehabilitation Hospital in Gaza City have been hit and damaged. Francesca Albanese, the UN special rapporteur on Palestine, has also urged medical professionals around the world to boycott Israel and to sever all ties with the regime. More than 45,000 and 500 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza and some 108,000 injured since October last year.
Israel intl. law violations
The United Nations rights experts say Israel must face consequences for inflicting maximum suffering on Palestinian civilians in Gaza. 11 UN experts issued a joint statement, saying Israel was violating international law and being sheltered by its allies. The experts emphasized that the regime's ongoing impunity sends a dangerous message and accountability is necessary. They cited crimes against humanity, including murder, torture, and forced displacement, as well as war crimes like indiscriminate attacks on civilians and using starvation as a weapon. The UN experts said this has led to immense suffering in occupied Palestinian territories. They stressed that civilians are protected under international law and warned that actions aimed at their destruction could be genocidal. They also called for urgent and thorough investigations into these serious violations. The experts also raised concern over Israeli attacks in the northern Gaza, where siege and evacuation orders could lead to permanent displacement and potential annexation of the territory.
Yemen anti-Israel operations
Israeli media say the Yemeni army has carried out yet another missile strike on Israel, causing sirens to blare in central parts of occupied Palestinian territories. Reports say at least two explosions were heard in central parts of the occupied territories following the missile strike. They say around one million Israeli settlers rushed to take shelters. The operation at Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport was also halted due to the strike. Yemen has been frequently targeting areas in Israeli occupied territories with missile and rocket strikes. The Yemeni army says the strikes are in retaliation for the Israeli genocide against Palestinians. The attacks are also in retaliation for the US and UK strikes on the Yemeni soil.
