At least two missiles have flown past the Israeli regime’s missile systems, striking the center of the occupied Palestinian territories.

On Saturday, the projectiles, which had been fired from the direction of the city of Beit Hanoun on the northeastern edge of the Gaza Strip, struck the holy occupied city of al-Quds, setting off the regime’s sirens and causing massive explosions.

Footage from the development showed the regime’s missile systems scrambling futilely to intercept the missiles, with Palestinian media outlets describing the triumph as the Palestinian resistance’s managing to convey “messages of fire”to the regime and making its calculations “go awry.”

Missile sirens also went off in the Negev Desert in the southern side of the occupied territories.

The developments came amid the regime’s declaring Beit Hanoun as a “military zone” before launching a ground attack against the city.

Also on Saturday, the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas’ military wing, the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, announced killing and wounding a number of Israeli forces during an operation in the city of Jabalia in northern Gaza.

Qassam’s fighters performed the strike after returning from the battle lines, attacking one of the regime’s barracks in the Abu Safiya District to the east of the Jabalia Refugee Camp with light weaponry and hand grenades.

Separately, Israeli forces rounded up more than 240 Palestinians at the Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, which has come under intense Israeli aggression over the past many weeks.

World Health Organization (WHO), meanwhile, announced that the regime had fully evacuated the facility amid the aggression.

Elsewhere in northern Gaza, the Israeli military claimed the life of Tal’at Joudah, police chief at the al-Shati Refugee Camp, during its bombings of the coastal sliver.

Israeli troops also killed nine Gazan civilians, mostly women and children, in a fresh massacre against the Maghazi Refugee Camp in the city of Deir Balah, which is likewise located in northern Gaza.

So far during the day, the regime has slain as many as 36 people during its aggression against various parts of the besieged territory.

The developments came amid the regime’s October 7, 2023-present war of genocide on Gaza that has so far claimed the lives of close to 45,500 Palestinians, mostly women and children.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club, an NGO, said the regime had admitted to rounding up as many as 1,772 people across Gaza since the onset of the warfare.

It said the body had obtained some information from Israeli forces about the locations, where the regime was keeping 89 of the prisoners.

According to the organization, many of the arrestees have suffered systematic torture, resulting in the death of some of them.
