Hezbollah ready for long conflict

A senior Hezbollah official says the resistance movement has the necessary stockpiles of weapons to continue its retaliatory operations against Israel for a long period of time. The head of Hezbollah's Media Relations Office, Mohammad Afif, made the statement during a presser on the occasion of Martyrs’ Day in Lebanon on Monday. He paid tribute to Secretary General Martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and remembered the great role he played as the entire nation’s leader. He emphasized that only developments on the battlefield will determine the fate of the region. He further stated that the Israeli regime will not win the war by continuing to kill civilians with its relentless airstrikes as long as it is incapable of advancing on the ground.

US-Israeli genocide in Gaza

No let-up in the Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip, where the regime has so far killed more than 43,600 Palestinians, over 70% of them women and children. The latest series of the Israeli attacks have left scores of Palestinians dead in the central Nuseirat refugee camp and in the northern city of Jabalia.

Netanyahu’s legal woes

The Israeli prime minister has reportedly requested a 2.5 month extension from the court to prepare for his upcoming corruption trial. According to Israeli media, Benjamin Netanyahu’s lawyers claim it has been impossible for the prime minister to focus on his legal defense due to Israel’s ongoing wars in Gaza and Lebanon. Netanyahu has been charged with fraud, bribery and breach of trust in three cases filed in 2019. He has been scheduled to testify at court on December 2. the Israeli prime minister has been faced widespread protests as he is accused of trying to prolong the wars in Gaza and Lebanon in order to circumvent his legal troubles.
