Hezbollah retaliation
The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah says it has inflicted cumulative losses on the Israeli military since October when the regime began its ground invasion of the Arab country. In a statement, the group said it has killed more than 110 Israeli forces and injured over one-thousand 50 others since then. Hezbollah also said nearly 50 Merkava tanks, nine military bulldozers and eight Hermes drones belonging to the regime have been destroyed since early October. The losses come as the resistance group continues its operations against the Israeli military, targeting the regime’s vital positions on a daily basis. On Tuesday, Hezbollah targeted several Israeli settlements, including Goren, Krayot and Jaatoun north of Haifa with rocket barrages. The group also targeted several gatherings of Israeli forces with rockets.
US-Israeli Gaza genocide
More Palestinians are killed in the Gaza Strip as the Israeli military continues to pound the blockaded territory with more air and artillery strikes. In one of the deadliest attacks, at least 12 people were killed, and several others injured after Israeli warplanes bombed a house in Jabalia, northern Gaza. Also in the north, an Israeli airstrike on a building in Beit Lahia left several fatalities. Several others were also killed in an Israeli air raid southwest of Gaza City. In central Gaza, Israeli artillery shelling of a Palestinian home claimed the lives of a number of people. The Israeli aggression on Gaza began in October last year. Since then, nearly 4,400 people have been killed and over 104,000 others injured.
Condemning EU, UK sanctions
Iran rejects as baseless accusations, the West's allegations of Tehran delivering arms to Russia, which has been used by European countries to impose more sanctions against the country. Writing in a post on his X account, Iran’s foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi said the EU and the UK have presented no evidence regarding their allegations so far. He also noted the new anti-Iran sanctions come as the UK continues its weapon delivery to Israel, despite the regime’s documented violations of international law. He stressed the attitude reflects the West’s double standards and its abdication of responsibility toward human rights. Western countries accuse Iran of sending ballistic missiles to aid Russia in its war with Ukraine. This is while Ukraine's president, Zelensky, has recently denied such reports. Tehran has repeatedly asserted its opposition to the war and voiced its support for diplomacy to resolve the conflict.
