Fighters from Iraqi anti-terror groups have carried out a series of attacks on strategic Israeli positions in the occupied territories, in retaliation for the Tel Aviv regime’s unrelenting atrocities against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and devastating strikes across Lebanon.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq, an umbrella group of anti-terror fighters, in a statement published on its Telegram channel early on Wednesday, said it had carried out a drone strike on a vital target in the Red Sea port city of Eilat using kamikaze drones.

It said the attack was carried out in continuation of resistance against the occupying Israeli regime, in support of Palestinian and Lebanese nations, and in response to the massacres that the Zionist entity is perpetrating against unarmed Palestinian and Lebanese civilians.

The coalition noted that it will continue to target and destroy important installations across the occupied lands.

The resistance group also reported a second drone strike on another Israeli target located in the same area.

“The fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, at dawn today, Wednesday 23-10-2024, attacked a vital target in Umm al-Rashrash "Eilat" with drones for the second time,” it said in a follow-up statement.

The group emphasized that the strike was in retaliation for Israeli acts of aggression, including massacres of women, children, and the elderly in the occupied Palestinian territories and Lebanon.

The Iraqi resistance also vowed to continue its operations against Israeli targets with increasing intensity.

Moreover, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced a new operation against a strategic Israeli position in the heart of the occupied territories using kamikaze drones.

Also on Wednesday, the anti-terror alliance claimed responsibility for two separate drone strikes on vital Israeli structures in the occupied Golan Heights with bomb-laden unmanned aerial vehicles.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq has been conducting numerous such operations against sensitive targets lying across the occupied territories since October 7 last year, when the Israeli regime began waging a genocidal war in the Gaza Strip.

At least 42,718 Palestinians, most of them women and children, have been killed in the brutal Israeli military onslaught so far.

The coalition has also carried out retaliatory attacks against the US occupation bases across Iraq and neighboring Syria due to Washington’s unbridled political, military, and intelligence support for Israel’s atrocities in Gaza.
