The Islamic Resistance in Iraq says it has conducted drone attacks against Israeli targets in the occupied Golan Heights in support of Palestinian and Lebanese people amid the occupying regime’s ongoing aggression in Gaza and Lebanon.

The umbrella group for Iraqi resistance fighters said in a statement on Sunday that it has targeted three Israeli positions in three separate operations across the occupied Golan.

It went on to say that the attacks were carried out in continuation of the group’s approach to resisting the occupation, and in support of the people in Palestine and Lebanon.

The strikes were also in response to the massacres committed by the usurping Israeli regime against civilians, including women, children, and the elderly in Gaza and Lebanon, it added.

The latest attacks come a day after the Islamic Resistance said it had struck three vital Israeli sites in the occupied territories in the early hours of Saturday using kamikaze drones.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq has been launching attacks on Israeli targets ever since the occupying regime started the genocidal war on Gaza in early October.

On Thursday, the movement hit a strategic target in the southern part of the Israeli-occupied territories using an advanced drone employed for the first time.

The resistance has also been hitting American military bases in Iraq and neighboring Syria in retaliation for Washington’s support for the Israeli genocide in Gaza.

Israel has been targeting Lebanon since October 7 last year, when it launched a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip after Palestinian resistance movements launched a surprise attack against the usurping entity in retaliation for its intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.

At least 41,825 Palestinians have been killed, most of them women and children, and another 96,910 individuals have sustained injuries in Gaza so far.
