Iraq’s Islamic Resistance has launched a drone strike on the Israeli-occupied port of Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) in response to Israeli atrocities in Lebanon and Gaza.
The umbrella group of various Iraqi factions announced it targeted “a vital installation.”
It emphasized the continuation of operations aimed at dismantling enemy strongholds “at an increasing pace.”

Israeli media said at least two settlers were injured.
The Israeli military claimed the attack involved two drones, one of which detonated in the city while the other was intercepted.
The military said it was closely monitoring threats from Iraq, gathering intelligence, and will take necessary actions in response.
On Wednesday alone, the Iraqi resistance reportedly conducted at least five anti-Israel operations, directly targeting two military sites in southern occupied Palestine with drones, including the Sapir Air Base, as well as locations in northern occupied Palestine.
Since October 2023, the Iraqi resistance has carried out operations against Israel, striking strategic military sites.
In light of recent attacks, the resistance has expressed solidarity with Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement and declared its readiness to support Lebanon.
The Sayyid al-Shuhada Brigades has declared willingness to deploy 100,000 fighters to Lebanon to confront the Zionist regime.
