Warning to Israel

The Chief Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps has issued a stern warning to Israel, saying any threats to Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity will not go unanswered. Major General Hossein Salami emphasized that the True Promise operation was merely a warning and represented only a fraction of Iran’s military capabilities. Salami was addressing people in the Iranian city of Isfahan at the funeral ceremony of major general Abbas Nilforoushan. The late commander, along with Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, was assassinated in an Israeli airstrike on southern Beirut last month.

US-Yemen airstrikes

In a new escalatory move, the United States has conducted multiple B-2 bomber strikes on Yemen. Several locations across the Arab country, including the capital Sana'a, have been hit. There is no immediate report of casualties. Meanwhile, Ansarullah resistance movement condemned the attacks and said the US will pay the price for its aggression on Yemen. A top Ansarullah official said Sana’s support for Palestine and Lebanon will not change and the capabilities of Yemen are increasing. The United States and Britain have repeatedly carried out strikes aimed at curbing anti-Israel operations by Yemen.

US-Israel Gaza genocide

Thursday has been another deadly day for Palestinians in Gaza where fresh Israeli strikes continue to pound the blockaded territory. In one of the attacks, at least three Palestinians were killed after Israeli jets struck a school housing displaced Palestinians in the town of Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza. Israeli airstrike on a Palestinian home in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza city also left several fatalities. The Israeli aggression which began in October last year, has so far killed more than 42,400 people and injured over 99,000 others. Lack of food, medicine and other basic necessities are also taking their toll on the Gaza population.
