Israel terrorism in Lebanon

Starting with Lebanon, a new wave of Israeli cyberattacks targeting wireless devices has claimed the lives of at least 20 people across the country. According to the Lebanese health ministry, more than 450 people were injured in the Wednesday attack. It came only a day after hundreds of pagers used by members of the Hezbollah resistance movement and ordinary people exploded in an Israeli terrorist operation. The regime’s terrorist attacks have drawn a strong reaction from Hezbollah. Head of the movement’s Executive Council, Sheikh Hashem Safieddine, has vowed a strong response to the Israeli terrorism. He said by taking such measures, the regime’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu only proves his weakness, and he will not be able to achieve his goals. Safieddine noted that the resistance maintains its readiness in the face of Israeli plots, and will neither be intimidated, nor take a step back.

US-Israeli genocide in Gaza

More Palestinians fall victim to fresh air and artillery strikes in Gaza as the US-Israeli genocide continues unabated across the blocked territory. In a latest attack, at least five people were killed and several others injured after a Palestinian home was bombed in al-Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City. In the east of city, at least eight Palestinians, including five children and two women, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a school housing the displaced people in the Shujaiya neighborhood. To the north of Gaza, two people were killed after Israeli warplanes struck another home in the Jabalia refugee camp. The regime also targeted several areas across Gaza with artillery fire, leaving an unknown number of Palestinians dead and injured. The Israeli aggression against the coastal territory has killed more than 41,270 Palestinians since last October, leaving over 95,500 others injured.

‘End Israeli occupation’

Dozens of UN experts have called on world countries to stop Israel's attacks on Palestinians and end the regime’s unlawful occupation of their territories. The experts also listed a number of measures that should be taken in this regard. They included a full arms embargo on Israel, recognizing a Palestinian state and sanctioning Israeli individuals and entities involved in the unlawful occupation and apartheid regime. The call came two months after the UN's top court described Israel's 57-year occupation of Palestinian territory as illegal, saying it must end as soon as possible. The UN experts also criticized world countries for failing to meet their obligations as reaffirmed by the International Court of Justice. They argued that failure to act immediately, jeopardizes the entire edifice of international law and rule of law in world affairs.
