US-Israeli genocide in Gaza

There is no end in sight to the Israeli genocide in Gaza as more civilians are killed in the regime’s new airstrikes on the blockaded Palestinian territory. An Israeli attack on tents housing displaced people near al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the central city of Dayr al-Balah killed four people. Several parts of Gaza City were also targeted, leaving nearly a dozen people dead. The al-Mawasi refugee camp and the city of Rafah were hit in the latest airstrikes, as well. The US-Israeli aggression against Gaza began in last October. Since then, more than 40,800 Palestinians have been killed and over 94,000 others injured. Most of the casualties are women and children.

Israel West Bank killings

Israeli forces have launched fresh deadly raids on the West Bank as they continue with their large-scale military offensive in the occupied Palestinian territories for the 9th day in a row. A Palestinian man was killed after regime forces opened fire in the town of Tubas. Israel also targeted a vehicle with missiles, leaving five people dead. The city of Jenin, which is under siege, is witnessing the most intense fighting. The regime has sent additional forces to the city. Israeli raids have also been reported in Nablus and Tulkarm. The regime’s offensive started last week. Dozens of Palestinians, including children, have been killed so far. Over 140 people have also been wounded and more than 180 arrested since last week.

‘Israel threat to world peace’

Iran has issued a serious warning about the risk posed to the entire world by Israel’s nuclear arsenal, calling for international supervision over the regime’s nuclear facilities. Iran's UN envoy, Amir Saied Iravani, was addressing the UN General Assembly on the International Day against Nuclear Tests. He said Israel is threatening other regional countries with nuclear annihilation, and its nuclear arsenal poses a significant threat to regional and global peace and security. The Iranian diplomat called on the international community to make the regime promptly accede to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty without any precondition. Iravani added that Israel must be forced to place all of its nuclear facilities under the International Atomic Energy Agency’s safeguards. He also reiterated Iran's commitment to nuclear disarmament, calling for a comprehensive and legally-binding prohibition on all types of nuclear tests.
