US-Israeli genocide in Gaza

It’s another deadly day for Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip as the Israeli military continues to pound the coastal territory with air and artillery strikes. In one of the attacks, Israeli warplanes bombed a school housing displaced Palestinians in Gaza’s al-Zaytoun neighborhood, killing at least five people. In a separate strike on another school, northwest of Gaza City, several people were killed and many others injured. Israeli bombing of a home in the Tuffa neighborhood, east of Gaza City, killed at least six people including children. The Israeli genocide in Gaza which began in October last year, has already claimed the lives of nearly 41,200 Palestinians and injured over 95,000 others.

Israel killing of US activist

A funeral has been held for a US-Turkish activist who was shot dead by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank. Aysenur Ezgi Eygi's body, wrapped in the Turkish flag and carried by uniformed officers was laid to rest in her hometown of Didim. A large crowd gathered during the funeral procession with mourners chanting pro-Palestine slogans. The 26-year-old was shot dead while taking part in a demonstration against Israeli settlements on September sixth near Nablus. Aysenur’s murder has sparked international condemnation. Ankara said this week it was probing her death and pressed the United Nations for an independent inquiry. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan says the activist was deliberately targeted and killed by Israeli soldiers.

Yemen supports Palestine

The leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement has blasted Arab and Muslim countries for their inaction in the face of Israeli crimes in Gaza. Seyyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said silence by some Arab and Muslim countries will encourage the Israeli regime to commit more crimes against Palestinians. The Ansarullah leader was making a speech on the occasion of Prophet Muhammad’s birthday anniversary. He said Muslims have the responsibility to provide all kinds of support for Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank. He said the Israeli regime would not have dared to commit such crimes against Palestinians without support from the US administration. He also lashed out at Washington for adopting a double-standard policy regarding the issue of Palestinians.
