Aug 17: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid Israel's genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed over 40,100 Palestinians so far, the majority of them children, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The major operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Saturday, August 17, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades' operations on August 17:

• Detonated two anti-personnel explosives on two Israeli military jeeps and engaged in clashes with other regime soldiers using machine guns in the vicinity of the University College in the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, south of Gaza City. 

Al-Quds Brigades' operations on August 17:

• Detonated a pre-planted ground explosive device on an Israeli military vehicle in the vicinity of Alyeen mosque in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
• Engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli soldiers on the advance axes east of the Al-Qarara area, in the north of the city of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip. 
• Targeted the “Re’im” military site with a rocket barrage.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades' operations on August 17:

• Targeted a gathering of Israeli forces stationed in the vicinity of the Abu Hadaf neighborhood, northeast of the city of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, with 107mm rockets and heavy-caliber mortar shells.
• Targeted a gathering of Israeli forces and their military vehicles northeast of the city of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip with a barrage of mortar shells.
• Engaged in armed clashes with Israeli forces that stormed Balata camp in the city of Nablus, occupied West Bank, using machine guns.

Mujahideen Brigades' operations on August 17:

• Targeted a position of the Israeli forces in the "Netzarim axis" with Haseb-111 rockets.

Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades' operations on August 17:

• Targeted an Israeli military position at Tal Zorob, west of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, with heavy mortar shells. 

Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces' operations on August 17:

• Targeted an Israeli military bulldozer in the Saudi neighborhood west of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip with an RPG shell. 

Al-Nasser Salah Al-Din Brigades' operations on August 17:

• Targeted the Israeli military’s command and control site in the "Netzarim" axis with two 107 mm rockets.
• Targeted the Israeli military's command and control site in the "Netzarim" axis with two 107 mm rockets.

Hezbollah's operations on August 17:

• The settlement of Eilet Hashahar was targeted for the first time with Katyusha rockets.
• Israeli soldiers were targeted at the Marj site with two drones. 
• The Samaqa site in Lebanon's Kfar Shouba was targeted with rockets.
• The Ruwaysat al-Alam site in Lebanon's Kfar Shouba was targeted with artillery shells.
• The Hadab Yaroun site was targeted with artillery shells.
• Surveillance equipment at the Jal Al-Alam site was targeted with drones.
• Israeli soldiers in Shtula were targeted with artillery shells.
