US-Israeli genocide in Gaza
Fresh Israeli attacks have killed more Palestinians in Gaza as the regime’s genocidal war grinds on. Three civilians lost their lives in an airstrike on a refugee camp in the southern city of Rafah. Several others, including children, were killed after the Israeli military shelled two houses in Khan Yunis. To the center, the regime’s bombardment took the lives of four Palestinians in the Bureij refugee camp. And in an attack on Gaza City’s Zeitoun neighborhood, several civilians were injured. The US-Israeli genocide in Gaza has claimed the lives of at least 64 Palestinians in a matter of 24 hours. The death toll since October 7 is nearing 39000, most of them women and children.
Malnutrition in Gaza
The UN has once again raised the alarm about the catastrophic effect that malnutrition is having on pregnant women and newborns as Israel keeps preventing the flow of humanitarian aid into Gaza. In a social media post, the UN Population Fund said malnutrition in the besieged territory has increased the number of pregnant women giving stillbirths and low-weight babies. The UNPFA added that many children are not growing properly due to malnutrition experienced by pregnant women and newborns. According to UN reports, at least 34 children have died of starvation while the entire Gaza population is facing a looming famine due to the Israeli blockade.
Yemen anti-Israel operations
The leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah resistance movement has issued a stern warning to Israel, saying that the Yemeni Armed Forces will intensify their attacks on the regime if it continues its aggression against Gaza. Abdul-Malik al-Houthi condemned recent Israeli attack on Yemen, asserting that the regime seeks to damage the country’s economy. He added that Israel's goal to gain deterrence through aggression will ultimately fail, as Yemeni operations now target the heart of the regime. He added that penetrating Tel Aviv with a drone has upset the Israelis in the attack that is considered a new stage in Yemen's operations. He said Israelis know they are no longer safe as they are faced with a new equation.
