Humanitarian crisis in Gaza

Israel’s prevention of aid delivery to Gaza and deliberate use of starvation against the Palestinians has put more than 3,500 children under the age of five at risk of death. That’s according to the government media office in the Gaza Strip. The GMO says children in Gaza are systematically subjected to malnutrition. It says this has affected their body structure and made them vulnerable to life-threatening infectious diseases. The media office added that children also need advanced psychological care in light of the horrors they have witnessed during the US-Israeli genocide. The GMO estimates that since October 7, more than 15,000 children have been killed and more than 17,000 have lost one or both their parents.

Israel West Bank raids

At least five Palestinians have been killed in fresh Israeli raids in the occupied West Bank. Two young men were shot dead after Israeli undercover forces stormed the Balata refugee camp in Nablus. Another Palestinian later succumbed to his wounds. Palestinian authorities say Israeli forces seized one of the bodies. Two other Palestinians were also killed near a checkpoint to the west of Tulkarm, when Israeli forces opened fire on their vehicle. The regime forces also took their bodies away. The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has paid tribute to the slain men, praising their “heroism” and “resistance” against Israeli occupation.
