Lebanese resistance retaliates

The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah keeps up its retaliatory attacks on Israeli targets. Thirty rockets were fired toward central and Western Galilee as well as Kiryat, north of Israeli-occupied Haifa. A Hezbollah drone also hit a building in the city of Nahariya in the occupied Palestinian territories. The drone attack set off sirens in Nahariya and the surrounding areas. Earlier, the Lebanese resistance group fired a barrage of rockets at Israel’s Ramim barracks. Hezbollah has repeatedly said that it carries out anti-Israeli operations in support of Gaza and in defense of Lebanon and its people.

US-Israeli genocide in Gaza

It’s another deadly day for Palestinians in Gaza as the Israeli military continues to pound the blockaded territory with more air and artillery attacks. In one of the deadliest strikes, at least three civilians were killed in an Israeli bombing in the Al-Janina area, near Rafah, southern Gaza. Israeli aircraft also targeted two homes in the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza. For more than 40 days, Northern Gaza has been the focal point of Israeli attacks. Meanwhile, Israel has shelled areas, north and east of the Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. The Israeli aggression on Gaza began in October last year. Since then, nearly 43,800 Palestinians have been killed and over 103,000 others injured.

‘Israel kills Palestinian prisoners’

The Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, strongly condemns Israeli authorities for being behind the deaths of two Palestinian prisoners in the regime’s jails. In a statement, Hamas said the deaths reflect Tel Aviv’s escalating crimes against Palestinians and the continuation of its systematic killing of prisoners through medical negligence. Hamas said Israel’s repression, abuse and deprivation of Palestinian prisoners requires urgent action to save them from the fascist and criminal occupying regime that is openly seeking to execute them. Earlier, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Commission and the Prisoners Society announced the deaths of Sameeh Eleiwi and Anwar Esleem in Israeli detention. They said the prisoners endured harsh treatment despite their deteriorating health conditions. More than 10,800 Palestinians have been detained in the occupied territories since the start of the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza.
