US-Israeli genocide in Gaza
It’s Day 88 of Israel's onslaught on Gaza and the regime’s massacre of civilians continues unabated. Health officials say Israeli occupation forces have carried out more than a dozen heavy bombings across Gaza in one day, killing more than 150 civilians. Mass casualties were reported following attacks on al-Maghazi and Jabalia camps. Khan Yunis was also heavily shelled. The regime also continues to bombard Gaza’s health facilities. Officials say more than 320 health personnel have been killed in the past three months. The regime has also abducted almost 100 medical professionals amid a health crisis in Gaza. The Palestinian health minister says out of 36 hospitals in Gaza only nine are operational but only partially. She added that the situation is totally catastrophic. The death toll in Gaza since October 7 stands at nearly 22,000.
Israeli onslaught on Gaza
Palestinian resistance movements have slammed Israeli calls for the forced displacement of the people in Gaza as another example of the regime’s war crimes in the territory. The Islamic Jihad movement says such remarks confirm that the Israeli aggression on Gaza is a war of genocide against the existence of Palestinians in their homeland. It says silence in the face of such Israeli violations encourage the regime to continue its criminal agenda. The Islamic Jihad warned that such crimes won’t be limited to Gaza and threaten all countries in the region. After Bezalel Smotrich, Itamar Ben Gvir has become the second Israeli minister to call for the displacement of Gaza's residents and the return of Israeli settlers to the territory. The resistance movement, Hamas, has vowed that Gazans would stand firm against such plots.
Israeli crimes
The Hamas resistance movement has strongly condemned what it called the Israeli assassination of another Palestinian prisoner. It says such crimes will backfire on the regime. Hamas said resistance fighters will teach Israel the necessary lessons for continuing crimes against Palestinian people. Earlier, the Commission of Palestinian Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs said the Israeli Prison Service had assassinated 23-year-old Abdul Rahman Bassem al-Bahsh in Megiddo jail. He had been in detention since May 2022, and was sentenced to 35 months in jail. Al-Bahsh is the first Palestinian prisoner to be killed by Israel in 20-24. He is, however, the seventh to be killed in Israeli detention centers since October 7, when the regime’s genocidal war on Gaza began.
