Iranian handball players have achieved their second victory at the preliminary round of the 2017 Asian Women's Club Handball Championship in Uzbekistan.
Shahid Chamran Larestsan team, which is representing the Islamic Republic at the continental sports event, faced India at Uzbekistan Sports Complex, and registered a 35-24 victory over the South Asian outfit.
Earlier, the Iranian handball players had defeated Kazakhstan's ILE team 30-27.
Shahid Chamran Larestsan women’s handball team is scheduled to take on AGMK of Uzbekistan in its next match on Friday.
The 2017 Asian Women's Club Handball Championship kicked off in the Uzbek capital city of Tashkent on September 23, and will conclude on October 2.
