One hundred days into Israel’s brutal ground offensive into the northern Gaza Strip, the destruction inflicted on homes, hospitals and public facilities, clearly shows the regime’s intention to eradicate life in the north edge of the besieged territory, Hamas says.

The Palestinian resistance movement started on Sunday to mark the 100th day of the offensive, which continues to “systematically and savagely target Palestinian land and people.”

It said over the past 100 days, “the people of north Gaza have endured horrific scenes of killing, ethnic cleansing, destruction, and displacement.”

“This savage assault has left 5,000 martyrs and missing persons, 9,500 injured —many with severe and chronic injuries.”

Hamas said Israeli forces have also abducted 2,600 people, “including women and children, in blatant violation of all international laws and conventions.”

The regime’s unspeakable violence against the Palestinian people, Hamas said, clearly shows its intention “to deliberately and systematically eradicate life in Gaza, causing a deep humanitarian crisis that exacerbates the suffering of our resilient Palestinian people."

According to reports from northern Gaza, Israeli forces have burned schools and attacked hospitals and medical staff. They have killed scores of people and forced tens of thousands of people to flee their homes.

On Saturday, the regime’s military forces attacked a hospital and a school sheltering displaced people in northern Gaza.

Rescue workers said they recovered the bodies of eight people from under the collapsed building of the school. Two children and two women were among the dead, they said.

The Israeli regime’s airstrikes also claimed the lives of at least 28 Palestinians over the 24 hours across the Gaza Strip, taking the overall death toll to over 46,565 since Oct.7, 2023.
