''Iran to retaliate soon"

A high-ranking commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps has warned that new retaliatory initiatives will catch Israel by surprise in the coming days. Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naqdi, IRGC’s deputy commander for coordination, made the announcement three days after Israel waged a deadly attack on Iran. Naqdi said, in the near future, the Israeli regime should await more crushing blows, and “bigger defeats”. Naghdi also noted that resistance fighters in Gaza and Lebanon have incapacitated the global arrogance. He said the form of support for Tel Aviv is now different from the one provided in the past due to the resistance front's stronger position.

Hezbollah continues retaliation

Lebanon’s Hezbollah Resistance Movement has named Sheikh Naim Qassem as its new leader. In a statement, Hezbollah said that Qassem will replace Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah who was assassinated by the Israeli regime in an Israeli airstrike in late September. The statement says, Qassem has been elected due to his QUOTE adherence to the principles and goals of Hezbollah. Sheikh Qassem previously served as deputy secretary general under Nasrallah. Sheikh Qassem was born in southern Lebanon and his political activism began with the Amal Movement in 19-79. He joined Hezbollah after its formation in early 80s. As a prominent spokesman, Sheikh Qassem, has engaged extensively with foreign media and coordinated Hezbollah's parliamentary election campaigns for decades.

Israel UNRWA ban backlash

The Republic of Ireland has called on the EU to review its ties with Israel following the regime's ban on the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, UNRWA. Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris, pointing out that there is no alternative to UNRWA, said this action by the Israeli regime will lead to more deaths and increased hunger among children in Gaza. He said he was consulting with other EU members to determine an appropriate response to the action. Harris also noted that other European countries, such as Spain, Belgium, and Slovenia, which had previously recognized an independent Palestinian state, are now calling for greater action regarding the war in Gaza. The Israeli ban on UNRWA has also sparked criticism from international bodies, including UNICEF which says the ban will result in the collapse of the humanitarian system in Gaza.
