Israeli military confirms 4 more troops killed in northern Gaza

Four more Israeli occupying forces have been killed in Gaza.

Israeli military has confirmed that 4 more of its soldiers have been killed in northern Gaza. 

In a statement released on Tuesday, the military said the soldiers, from the army’s elite Multidomain Unit, were killed in an area of Gaza's north. 

In a separate statement, the Israeli army on Tuesday said an officer who was severely injured in fighting against Palestinians resistance fighters in the northern Gaza died of his wounds. 

On the weekend, the military said 5 Israeli reservists in the 8207 battalion of the Alon Brigade were killed in southern Lebanon.

Israeli media said the soldiers were caught by surprise by three Hezbollah Resistance fighters hiding in a building.

The latest figures brought the death toll to 37 for Israeli occupation troops in southern Lebanon since September.

According to military figures, at least 776 soldiers have been killed and around 5,100 others injured since Israel launched a campaign of death and destruction in the besieged Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.

Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid said on Monday that 890 soldiers have been killed and 11,000 others injured.
