"Resistance standing strong"
The Hezbollah resistance movement continues retaliatory operations against Israel along Lebanon’s southern border, targeting the regime’s military sites and settlements. In one of its latest attacks, Hezbollah fighters destroyed three Israeli Merkava tanks with guided missiles, killing and injuring the regime’s troops. The group also targeted a gathering of Israeli forces at a radar site in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms with a rocket barrage. Hezbollah fighters fired a salvo of rockets at Israeli settlements of Safed and Kiryat Shmona, north of the occupied territories. Israel’s Zarit barracks was also hit with Hezbollah missiles. Other operations by Hezbollah fighters targeted gatherings of Israeli forces at various locations along Lebanon’s southern border, inflicting heavy losses on them. Hezbollah said its retaliatory operations were in support of the Palestinian resistance and also in defense of Lebanon and its people amid Israel's ongoing aggression against the country.
Gaza genocide raging
It’s another deadly day for Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip where relentless Israeli attacks continue to pound areas across the blockaded territory. In one of the most tragic attacks, an entire family were killed in the Israeli bombing of their home near the southern city of Khan Yunis. Elsewhere in Gaza, near a dozen Palestinians lost their lives after the regime’s warplanes struck a home near the Jabalia refugee camp in the north of the Strip. Jabalia was also the scene of other deadly attacks with dozens of Palestinians falling victim to Israeli air and artillery strikes. Fatalities are also reported after Israeli helicopters bombed Palestinian agricultural land south of the al-Maghazi area in central Gaza. The Israeli aggression, which began in October last year, has so far claimed the lives of over 42-thousand-300 Palestinians and injured more than 99-thousand others.
Iran warns U.S.
Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps has warned the United States against any involvement in a potential Israeli attack against Iran. Speaking to Press TV, Brigadier General Ebrahim Jabbari, an advisor to IRGC’s chief commander, warned that if the US ever enters the battlefield against Iran, "their bases, interests, and ships will be within the reach of Iranian weapons." Jabbari says the US is unprepared to confront Iran and the axis of resistance, expressing doubt if the US would engage in what he called such a foolish act. His comments followed reports that the US military is deploying an advanced anti-missile system operated by its forces to assist Israel after failing to defend itself against Iran recently.
