Hezbollah retaliatory strikes

The Lebanese resistance movement, Hezbollah launches fresh attacks on Israel in response to the regime’s aggression against the Arab country. Hezbollah has launched new rocket attacks on an Israeli military post in the occupied Shebaa Farms on the Lebanese-Syrian border. An Israeli base in Haifa was also targeted. On the ground, Hezbollah is intensifying its assaults on invading Israeli troops. Reports say 5 Israeli soldiers have been killed, and 26 others injured in two separate incidents. Hezbollah says clashes with Israeli forces along the southern borders of Lebanon are still ongoing.

US-Israeli genocide in Gaza

The Israeli military presses ahead with its relentless bombardment of the besieged Gaza Strip now more than one year into the genocidal war. In one of the deadliest attacks, at least five children were killed after the Israeli military shelled the al-Shati refugee camp . A dozen others were injured in the attack. Fatalities were also reported after the Israeli artillery shelling targeting the town of Al-Fakhari in Khan Yunis, south Gaza. In a separate strike, Israeli warplanes struck the al-Bureij refugee camp, killing and injuring several Palestinians. The Israeli aggression on Gaza began in October last year, claiming the lives of more than 42,200 so far. Over 98,000 others have also been injured since then.

Dismissing anti-Iran threats

Iran’s foreign minister says Tehran does not want war but is ready for it. Abbas Araghchi made the comments in a joint press conference with his Iraqi counterpart in Baghdad. Aragchi said he’s in Iraq to discuss the situation in the region, including the Persian Gulf. He said the region is in an alarming state and there’s a very high chance of escalation and conflict. Araghchi hailed Iraq’s stance as declared by the Iraqi foreign minister. Earlier in the presser, Fuad Hussein had vowed that Iraq would not allow its airspace to be used against any country, including Iran. Israeli officials have been threatening to attack Iran in response to the country’s October 1 retaliatory missile strikes on the occupied territories.
