Israeli aggression on Lebanon

Israel is expanding its aggression across Lebanon in defiance of international calls for a ceasefire. An Israeli airstrike completely destroyed an old mosque in the village of Kfar Tibnit in southern Lebanon. The regime’s forces also hit the southern city of Nabatieh, where several people were wounded. Four people were killed in a strike on the town of Barja, south of Beirut. To the north of the capital, at least nine people were killed in a strike on the village of Maaysrah. Israel also targeted a village near the northern Lebanese town of Batroun, killing two. Lebanon’s Health Ministry says more than 2,250 people have been killed in the Israeli attacks on the country since last October.

US-Israeli genocide in Gaza

At least 22 people, including women and children, have been killed in an Israeli attack on the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, where some 200,000 Palestinians have been besieged for ten days. Israeli troops in Jabalia are reportedly burning houses and bombing them with tanks and artillery fire, using Palestinians as human shields. The Israeli military is also trying to force medical personnel to evacuate the three hospitals in the area. Israeli strikes have killed more than one hundred and fifty Palestinians in an operation focusing on the Jabalia refugee camp this week. The Israeli military is also imposing starvation warfare and preventing clean water from reaching inhabitants. Since Israel began its deadly war on the Palestinian territory in October last year, more than 42,000 people have been killed. Over 98,000 others have been injured.

Pro-Palestine rally

In Germany, thousands have taken to the streets of Munich and Berlin to protest against arms shipments to Israel and condemn the regime's atrocities in the West Asia region. Demonstrators, carrying Lebanese and Palestinian flags, slammed German support for the Israeli wars in Lebanon and Gaza. They demanded that the arms budget be allocated for social needs. The protesters also condemned the Israeli killing of innocent civilians in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon as a grave violation of international law. German police clashed with the protesters, making several arrests. Protesters also took to the streets of Paris to slam the ongoing Gaza genocide, demanding an immediate ceasefire in the fighting in Gaza and Lebanon. Global pro-Palestinian rallies have increased in recent months as the regime has intensified its attacks on Lebanon and Gaza, killing civilians, mostly women and children. Earlier several major cities across the world witnessed massive anti-Israeli rallies. Protesters have been constantly calling for an immediate ceasefire in Lebanon and Gaza, and a halt on arms support for Israel.
