US-Israeli Gaza genocide

More than eleven months into the Israeli genocide in Gaza; the regime’s warplanes and artillery keep pounding the blockaded territory relentlessly. In the latest attack, three members of a family were killed in an Israeli shelling of a school housing the displaced Palestinians near the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. A similar attack targeting a school in al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City, left at least seven people dead and several more injured. The Israeli aggression on Gaza began in October last year. Since then, more than 41,400 people have been killed and nearly 96,000 others injured. According to Gaza officials, of every 10 people killed in Gaza, three to seven of them are women and children. Officials also say the majority of those killed show signs of mutilation due to the intensity of Israeli bombardment.

Hezbollah retaliatory operations

The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah has released a statement on its latest retaliatory attacks on a number of Israeli military sites. The targeted facilities include the Baghdadi site which was hit directly with rockets. Hezbollah’s rockets also targeted the Mayan Baruch site in the Upper Galilee region. The Radar site in the occupied Shebaa Farms came under artillery shells as well. A guided missile targeted the Marj site too, resulting in casualties among Israeli forces. Hezbollah’s artillery fire also hit the Jal Al-Alam site. The resistance movement’s statement says that all the attacks were carried out in support of the people of Gaza and their brave resistance amid the regime’s genocidal war.

Iraqi resistance retaliation

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq says it has carried out new attacks on Israeli positions in the occupied Palestinian territories. In a statement, the umbrella group of resistance factions said it targeted several Israeli military targets in the Jordan Valley using drones. The group said most of the drones hit their targets as Israeli defense systems failed to intercept many of them. For the first time since the onset of the Gaza war, sirens were sounded in the occupied city of Bisan, signifying the intensity of the attack. The new operation came after the Iraqi resistance attacked Israeli targets in the north of the occupied territories using Al-Arqab missiles. The group has rammped up its anti-Israeli operations in support of Palestinians and in response to the Israeli genocide in Gaza. The group has also targeted American facilities in Iraq and Syria in recent months amid growing anger over US support for Israel's devastating war on Gaza.
