Israel terrorist operation
In Lebanon, nine people have been killed as a result of an explosion of pager devices held by Hezbollah resistance fighters. A ten-year-old girl and the son of a member of Hezbollah’s bloc in Lebanon’s parliament are among those killed. Thousands have also been injured, many of them critically. Iran’s ambassador to the country, Mojtaba Amani, is among the injured. Following the terrorist attack, Hezbollah said its specialized agencies have launched a large-scale security and scientific investigation to determine the causes of the simultaneous explosions. It added that after examining all the facts, current data and available information, the movement holds Israel fully responsible for this criminal aggression, which also targeted civilians. It stressed that the criminal enemy will certainly receive its just punishment for this “sinful aggression” from where it expects or does not expect.
Condemning Israeli terrorism
Reactions are pouring in following a deadly cyber-attack in Lebanon which targeted members of the country’s resistance movement Hezbollah. Iran’s foreign ministry strongly condemned the incident, saying the attack was part of a combined operation conducted by Zionist thugs. The Ministry’s spokesman, Nasser Kan’ani, said the attack is against all humanitarian principles and international law. He said the operation amounts to mass murder, and poses a serious threat to regional peace and security. Meanwhile, the Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, also slammed the terrorist operation as part of Israel’s systematic aggression against the region with the direct support of the US. Hamas said it holds the Israeli regime fully responsible for the consequences of the dangerous crime. The Palestinian Islamic Jihad also condemned the attack as a documented war crime, which falls within the framework of Israel’s psychological warfare. The Islamic Resistance in Iraq and Yemen’s Ansarullah movement also condemned the Israeli attack.
US-Israeli genocide in Gaza
More Palestinians are killed in fresh air and artillery strikes in Gaza as the US-Israeli genocide against the blocked territory continues unabated. At least two people were killed, and several others injured in an Israeli bombing of a house in al-Zaytoun neighborhood. Several others died after Israeli warplanes struck the Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. There, regime forces also opened fire on ambulance workers who were retrieving bodies of the wounded. Meanwhile, Palestinian resistance fighters carry out more retaliatory operations against Israeli forces. At least four regime soldiers were killed in an ambush east of Rafah, while rockets were fired at Ashkelon and Sderot in occupied Palestine. More than 41,200 Palestinians have been killed and over 95,000 others injured since the Israeli aggression in Gaza began in October.
