Hezbollah retaliates
Lebanon’s resistance movement Hezbollah is pressing ahead with its retaliatory operations against Israel, inflicting losses on the regime’s military deep inside the occupied territories. In a statement, Hezbollah said it destroyed an Israeli Merkava tank west of the town of Shamaa with a guided missile, killing and wounding its crew. The group also said it targeted the Dishon and the Avivim settlements with salvo of rockets. Hezbollah also released a video showing its attack on the Israeli army’s Shraga base near Nahariya with missiles and drones. The group also said it confronted Israeli forces trying to infiltrate Lebanon towards the town of Deir Mimas with machine guns and rockets, inflicting casualties on the regime soldiers.
Israeli genocide in Gaza
The Israeli regime has launched new airstrikes on Gaza, targeting a mosque in Nuseirat refugee camp. Israeli jets also targeted Bureij refugee camp in the latest attacks, leaving three people including a young child dead. According to the Gaza health ministry, at least 120 Palestinians have been killed since Friday. This brings the Palestinian death toll in Gaza to more than 44,100. According to the UNRWA, about 80 percent of verified deaths took place in residential buildings. The aid agency says 90 percent of the population is internally displaced and some have been forced to relocate for more than ten times.
Slaming Israeli crimes
The Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, condemns the Israeli genocide in northern Gaza and attacks on Kamal Adwan hospital, calling it a disregard for humanity and international law. In a statement, Hamas slammed Israeli attacks, ethnic cleansing and forced displacement of civilians. It said the regime has imposed a war of hunger on two million people in the besieged territory. The movement called on the international community, especially the UN and Muslim countries to punish Israel for its crimes. Northern Gaza has been under intense Israeli siege for over a month with no food and fuel trucks entering the area. On Saturday, Gaza health officials said Kamal Adwan Hospital which was the only operational health facility in the north is now out of service after an Israeli quadcopter attacked its power generator.
