Babies dying of cold

An eighth baby in Gaza has frozen to death as the US-Israeli genocide rages in the blockaded strip. The latest victim was only 35-days old. The charity group, Islamic Relief, says a ceasefire and increased humanitarian aid is the only way to stop more babies in Gaza dying during the cold winter. Negotiations are currently underway in Qatar in a renewed push to secure a ceasefire deal. According to Western media, Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, is ready to release 34 captives as the first part of a ceasefire deal with Israel. The genocide in Gaza began in October 2023. Since then, nearly 46,000 Palestinians have been killed and almost 110,000 injured.

Israel Lebanon violation

Israel has launched fresh attacks against Lebanon in violation of a ceasefire agreement the regime reached with the Arab country last year. According to Lebanese media, Israeli forces bombed the town of Taybeh in the Marjayoun district. The truce between Israel and Lebanon took effect on November the 27th last year. Ever since, Israel has violated the agreement over 800 times. The agreement gives IOF 60 days to withdraw from southern Lebanon. This while Israel has withdrawn from just three of the dozens of towns it's occupied there, the latest one being the town of Naqura. The withdrawal coincides with the third meeting of the committee overlooking the ceasefire. US envoy Amos Hochstein is to meet with the Lebanese prime minister and parliament speaker. Both officials are expected to strongly demand a full Israeli pullout and an end to the non-stop violations over the past month.

Yemen thwarts spying plot

Yemen says it has foiled an MI6-Saudi plot meant to carry out espionage. Yemeni security services have issued a statement saying that the hostile activities of the British and Saudi Intelligence services have been thwarted. They also declared the arrest of elements of a British spy network in December last year. The enemies collaborated to recruit, train, and deploy espionage agents for operations that would target the country’s strategic capabilities. They also sought to monitor the movements of Yemeni leaders. The statements have also been confirmed by the confessions of those arrested.
