The Palestinian resistance groups have praised the Yemeni armed forces for striking an Israeli target near Tel Aviv with a new hypersonic ballistic missile.
In a statement released on Sunday, Hamas said it considers the missile attack a “natural response to the Zionist entity’s aggression against our Palestinian people.”
“We affirm that the Zionist enemy will not enjoy security unless it ceases its brutal aggression against our people in the Gaza Strip,” the statement read.
“The continued efforts of the resistance fronts in Yemen, Lebanon, and Iraq, in providing support and directly confronting the zionist enemy, are a legitimate right of our nation’s resistance and its people,” it said.
“This also confirms the unity of our nation and its shared destiny in facing the Zionist project and its colonial dominance in Palestine and the Arab region.”
The spokesperson for the al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, also commended the top-tier operation.
"We also deeply appreciate the stance of the dear Yemeni people alongside their Palestinian brethren and their readiness to offer sacrifices for this cause," Abu Obeida said in a statement posted on Telegram.
Elsewhere in the statement, Hamas called for an end to Israeli aggression and complete liberation of entire Palestine.
"We renew our call to all free forces, peoples, and conscientious individuals of the world to continue their support for our people until the aggression and genocide in Gaza are stopped, and until our people’s aspirations for reclaiming their national rights, liberating their land and holy sites, and establishing their Palestinian state with al-Quds as its capital are fulfilled."
Separately, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad resistance movement said, "The courage displayed by the Yemeni people in facing American arrogance and zionist tyranny reaffirms their commitment to supporting our Palestinian people."
"We commend the missile strike carried out by the heroic people of our brotherly Yemen in the heart of Tel Aviv, which has exacerbated the enemy's crises and exposed its weakness."
"We also condemn the continued official Arab silence regarding the massacres and genocide war being perpetrated by the Nazi entity against our people."

Yemeni armed forces on Sunday morning struck an Israeli military target in Tel Aviv with a new hypersonic ballistic missile that evaded Israeli interception systems.
Yemen said the attack is part of a new phase of military operations in solidarity with Palestinians.
Yemenis have declared their open support for Palestine’s struggle against the Israeli occupation since the regime launched a devastating war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, after the territory’s Palestinian resistance movements carried out a surprise retaliatory attack, dubbed Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, against the occupying entity.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have said that they won’t stop their attacks until unrelenting Israeli ground and aerial offensives in Gaza end.
So far, Israel has killed at least 41,206 Palestinians, mostly women and children.
Leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah resistance movement Abdul-Malik al-Houthi censured in a televised speech on Saturday the Israeli regime’s nearly year-old onslaught on the besieged Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank with US-made lethal munitions.
