US-Israeli Gaza genocide

More than 11 months into the US-Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip and the regime continues to bombard Palestinians with more air and artillery strikes. In the north, 11 citizens, including four children and three women, were killed after an Israeli airstrike hit their home in the al-Tuffah Neighborhood of Gaza City. The regime also targeted the vicinity of a school in the same city and carried out fresh artillery strikes on Beit Hanoun, killing at least seven more Gazans. According to the Palestinian officials, the regime has so far targeted 152 schools that were used as shelters for the displaced. Local authorities have also reported that at least 64 people have been killed in a single day. This brings the total number of Gazans killed since last October up to nearly 41,200 with more than 95,000 others also injured.

Israeli crimes in Gaza

The UN Palestinian refugee agency, UNRWA says its staff members fear they have become a target for Israeli strikes across the Gaza Strip. Senior deputy director, Sam Rose made the remark after an earlier Israeli attack hit one of the agency’s schools that was used as shelter for the displaced. Rose noted that workers will no longer wear the agency’s vests to avoid getting targeted by IOF. On Wednesday, the UN-run Al-Jawni School in central Gaza was hit by the regime’s forces, killing 18 people, including six UNRWA employees. According to the UN agency, at least 220 members of its staff have been killed since the regime began its genocide in Gaza.

Anti-Netanyahu protests

Israeli forces have once again clashed with protesters gathering across occupied Palestine as part of their weekly rallies against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. In Tel Aviv, mounted officers used horses to contain the crowd. Protests were held in other occupied cities including Haifa and al-Quds. Demonstrators blamed Netanyahu for failing to secure a prisoner exchange deal and demanded his resignation and snap elections. During the protests, families of the captives held in Gaza also released a statement warning that the war will continue against their will as long as Netanyahu remains in power. Gaza cease-fire talks appear to be at stalemate after the Israeli regime added new conditions to a truce proposal by US that Hamas had already agreed to.
