Yemenis stand with Palestinians
Thousands of Yemenis have once again poured onto the streets across the country in yet another Friday of rallies in support of Palestinians in war-ravaged Gaza. They have also voiced support for the appointment of Yahya Sinwar as the new political leader of Hamas.
Iran's military might
Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps has once again released footage, showing surveillance of US and allied naval vessels in the Persian Gulf. The images show two US navy ships as well as a Spanish helicopter carrier in the waters south of Iran. They are filmed from very close range. This comes amid tensions over the Israeli assassination of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh during his visit to Iran on July 31. Also on Friday, the IRGC’s command delivered over 2,600 weapons systems to its naval force that operates in the Persian Gulf. The deliveries include long and medium-range missile systems as well as combat and reconnaissance drones. According to IRGC, some of the missiles are equipped with highly-explosive warheads.
