The Israeli military has issued new evacuation orders in areas of the northern Gaza Strip that were among the first to be hit in October 2023.

The areas included in the order are the Manshiyya and Sheikh Zayed neighborhoods as well as the town of Beit Hanoun.

The regime issued the evacuation order on Wednesday in preparation for a military operation under the pretext of rocket fire from the areas.

Witnesses said Palestinians were fleeing on foot while carrying their belongings.

Beit Hanoun and Gaza City have been largely decimated after repeated Israeli ground incursions and relentless airstrikes since October.

The evacuation order is the latest in a series that has forced tens of thousands of displaced Palestinians to relocate yet again.

The United Nations says 86 percent of the besieged Gaza Strip is now under Israeli evacuation orders.

More Palestinians are falling victim to the US-Israeli campaign of genocide in Gaza as the occupation forces continue to attack the territory.

Schools and other public places are not exempted from the attacks.
