July 2: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid Israel's genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed nearly 38,000 Palestinians so far, including around 17,000 children, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The major operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Tuesday, July 2, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades’ operations on July 2:

  • Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles near the cemetery in Tal Al-Sultan neighborhood, west of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, with mortar shells.
  • Targeted an Israeli military "Namer" troop carrier with an Al-Yassin 105 shell in the Al-Shuja'iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
  • In a joint operation with Al-Quds Brigades, two Israeli soldiers were shot dead at point-blank range in Shuja'iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City.
  • Targeted an Israeli force of 14 soldiers that barricaded inside a home with a TBG shell in Shuja'iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City.
  • Targeted an Israeli military Merkava 4 tank with an Al-Yassin 105 shell in the Al-Shuja’iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
  • Targeted Israeli forces positioned on the "Netzarim" axis with mortar shells and short-range Rajoom rockets.
  • Engaged in clashes with Israeli infantry force in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
  • Targeted two ‘Merkava 4’ military tanks with ‘Al-Yassin 105’ shells in the western camp area of Rafah city, southern Gaza Strip.

Al-Quds Brigades’ operations on July 2:

  • Detonated a "Thaqib" explosive device on an Israeli military vehicle near Al-Salam Mosque in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood, eastern Gaza City.
  • Targeted a special Israeli military force barricaded inside a building in the Al-Shuja'iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, with a TBG shell.
  • Targeted Israeli military’s command and control headquarters in the “Abu Oreiban” site in the “Netzarim” axis.
  • Targeted Israeli soldiers and vehicles with a barrage of mortar shells in the axis of advance, Al-Shuja’iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades’ operations on July 2:

  • Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and army vehicles with mortar shells on the axes of advance in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City.
  • Targeted positions of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles penetrating west of the city of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, with a barrage of mortar shells.
  • Engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli forces storming the Al-Dahiya area, using machine guns.
  • Fired a barrage of mortar shells at Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles in the axis of advance, west of Rafah, southern Gaza City.

Al-Asifah Forces’ operations on July 2:

  • Engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli forces using appropriate weapons in the Al-Dahiya area, east of Nablus, occupied West Bank.

Mujahideen Brigades’ operations on July 2:

  • Targeted a command and control headquarters of the Israeli military in the so-called “Netzarim” axis with two Type 107 missiles.
  • In a joint operation with the Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces, targeted a gathering of Israeli forces in the axis of advance in Shuja'iyya, east of Gaza City, with several missiles.

Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces’ operations on July 2:

  • In a joint operation with the Mujahideen Brigades, targeted a gathering of Israeli forces in the axis of advance in the Al-Shuja'iyya neighborhood with short-range rockets.

 Hezbollah’s operations on July 2:

Eastern sector:

  • The Kiryat Shmona barracks was targeted with dozens of Katyusha rockets.

Western sector:

  • The Jal al-Alam site was targeted with artillery shells.

Yemeni military’s operations on July 2:

  • In a joint operation with the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, targeted a vital Israeli military target in Haifa, the occupied Palestinian territories, with a number of missiles.
