India’s Modi loses majority in parliament with big setback

In a huge setback, India’s ruling BJP loses majority in a key parliamentary election as the counting of votes is underway in the world’s most populous nation.

The right-wing party might fall short of a majority on its own. The seven-phase huge electoral exercise began on April 19 and ended on Saturday with astonishing results proving all pollsters flawed.
