April 6: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed more than 33,200 Palestinians so far, including nearly 16,000 children, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The major operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Saturday, April 6, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades’ operations on April 6:
(Gaza Strip)

• Targeted three Israeli Merkava tanks with Al-Yassin 105 shells in the Al-Zana area, east of Khan Younis city in southern Gaza.
• Targeted a gathering of Israeli military with a shower of bullets and tandem shells, leading to the killing of at least five Israeli troopers and injuries to several others in the Al-Amal neighborhood of Khan Younis city.
• Targeted an Israeli military Merkava tank with an Al-Yassin 105 shell in the Al-Amal neighborhood of Khan Younis city, resulting in several casualties and destruction.
• Targeted Israeli soldiers who had barricaded themselves inside a house in the Al-Hadath area, killing at least three of them and wounding many others.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades’ operations on April 6:

• Bombed the gatherings of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles with mortar shells, east of Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
• Ambushed an Israeli special force that infiltrated Balata Camp and engaged in fierce clashes with them using machine guns and explosive devices.
• Targeted the "Nitzanei Oz" Israeli military checkpoint and the "Avnei Hefetz" settlement with gunfire, followed by fierce clashes.

Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces’ operations on April 6:
(Gaza Strip)

• Engaged in clashes with Israeli forces in the center of Khan Younis city, using machine guns, explosive devices, and tandem shells, resulting in heavy losses in the enemy camp.
• Engaged in clashes with Israeli forces in the vicinity of the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis city, using machine guns and anti-tank and personnel shells, causing a number of casualties.
• Bombed the Israeli military positions in the area east of Al-Qarrara with a barrage of mortar shells, causing heavy losses to the enemy force.
• In a joint operation with the Saraya Al-Quds, targeted Israeli military positions in the Ajlein area west of Gaza City with heavy mortar shells, inflicting heavy casualties.
• Engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli forces on the advance axis in the Al-Maghraqa area, south of Gaza City, targeting their vehicles with a "B7" caliber shell, hitting it directly.
• Engaged in clashes with Israeli forces east of Deir Al-Balah camp, using explosive devices and anti-tank and personnel shells, causing losses and casualties.

Al-Asifah Forces’ operations on April 6:

• In a joint operation with Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces, bombed gatherings of Israeli forces in the south of Gaza City with short-range rockets, resulting in several casualties.

Al-Quds Brigades’ operations on April 6:

• Bombed the Israeli military Merkava 4 tank with a Thaqeb barrel explosive device in  Deir Al-Balah, southern Gaza.

Hezbollah’s operations on April 6:
(Lebanon)

Eastern sector:

• At around 16:10 local time, a jamming system in the Al-Assi site was targeted with a drone.
• At around 16:15 local time, the Al-Zaoura area was targeted with a Katyusha rocket launcher.
• At around 16:30 local time, the Ruwaisat Al-Alam site in Lebanon's Kafr Shuba was targeted with a Burkan missile.
• At around 17:05 local time, the Zibdin barracks in Lebanon's Shebaa were targeted with a barrage of missiles.
• At around 20:50 local time, an Israeli military Hermes 900 drone was shot down over Lebanese territory.

Western sector:

• At around 02:00 local time, Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the Ramya site were targeted with artillery shells.
• At around 11:50 local time, the Al-Malikiyah site was targeted with a Burkan missile.
• At around 12:40 local time, the Shlomi settlement and the Jal Al-Alam site were targeted with Burkan missiles.
• At around 14:25 local time, Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the Shtoula barracks were targeted with a volley of missiles.
• At around 14:40 local time, Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the Shomera Barracks were targeted with artillery shells.
• At around 18:15 local time, the Al-Jardah site was targeted by a Burkan missile.

Islamic Resistance in Iraq’s operations on April 6:

• Targeted oil refineries in occupied with drones, inflicting damages.
• Targeted an Israeli military site in the occupied Golan Heights with drones.
