Israel: No way back

The statistics are staggering - over 100,000 people have been killed or wounded in Gaza since October 2023. That's the equivalent of roughly 1-in-20-man, women, and children in the besieged enclave dead or injured, and still, the bodies of the martyrs pile up.

Adding to this ever-expanding roll call are the more than 100 who were shot down by the occupation forces after waiting for humanitarian aid in the west of Gaza City. Committing a genocide hasn't stopped Israel from continuing its blatant land grab, one that flies in the face of international rulings. The latest act of thievery saw 650 acres now designated a part of an existing settlement in East Jerusalem - Al-Quds.

Foreign journalists are tired of being embedded with Israeli occupation forces inside Gaza. They've written an open letter to Tel Aviv and Cairo, urging them to allow unfettered access into Gaza and to protect those who are already working there.

Things are also heating up elsewhere, giving Israel more uncomfortable moments on the global front. In this case, the results of the first by-election in Rochdale, England, one that will certainly test the temperature of both the ruling Conservative and opposition labor parties. How much will pro-Palestinian voices triumph?
