Feb. 29: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed more than 30,000 Palestinians so far, including at least 14,000 children, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Thursday, February 29, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades' operations on Feb. 29:

• Detonated two booby-trapped tunnels where Israeli forces were hiding, south of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City, resulting in casualties. 
• Detonated a building that housed an Israeli infantry force, south of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City, causing casualties. 
• Targeted three Israeli armored personnel carriers (APCs) and a Merkava tank with Yassin-105 rockets and "Shoaz" explosive devices, south of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.
• Detonated an anti-personnel mine targeting an Israeli infantry force, south of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City, resulting in casualties. 

Al-Quds Brigades' operations on Feb. 29

• Shelled the supply lines of the Israeli military with a barrage of mortar shells in the Zana’a area, east of Khan Younis city, southern Gaza.
• Targeted two Israeli military vehicles with RPGs in the Abasan Al-Kabira area of Khan Younis city. 

Nasser Salah Al-Din Brigades' operations on Feb. 29:

• Launched a volley of rockets at Sderot settlement.
• Shelled the Israeli army positions and gatherings north of the Gaza Strip with 107mm rocket barrages.

Mujahideen Brigades' operations on Feb. 29:

• Shelled the field command headquarters of the Israeli military in the south and west of Gaza with mortar shells.
• Targeted illegal settlements in Gaza Envelope with a barrage of rockets. 
• Targeted the deployment and positions of Israeli soldiers, southeast of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City, with short-range rockets.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades' operations on Feb. 29:

• Engaged in clashes with Israeli forces, using appropriate weapons, on the axis of Abasan Al-Kabira area in Khan Younis city.
• Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces' operations on Feb. 29
• Engaged in clashes with Israeli forces on the axis of Abasan Al-Kabira area in Khan Younis city. 
• Detonated an explosive device on an Israeli army vehicle in the Al-Amal neighborhood, west of Khan Younis city. 

Hezbollah's operations on Feb. 29:

      Eastern sector:

• At around 12:20 local time, the Ramtha site in Shebaa was targeted with missiles.
• At around 15:00 local time, surveillance and technical equipment of the Israeli military at the Ruwaisat al-Alam site in Shebaa was targeted with appropriate weapons.

      Western sector:

• At around 8:00 local time, Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the Jal al-Alam site were targeted with artillery shells.
• At around 12:10 local time, Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of Cobra Hill were targeted with missiles.
• At around 14:05 local time, the Elon colony was targeted with a barrage of Katyusha rockets.
• At around 18:00 local time, the Gorin settlement was targeted with Falaq missiles
