Feb. 26: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed 29,878 Palestinians so far, including at least 14,000 children, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Monday, February 26, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades' operations on Feb. 26:

• Detonated an anti-personnel mine on an Israeli military contingent comprising 15 soldiers inside a house in Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Yunis City, southern Gaza, causing casualties.
• Destroyed a Merkava tank with a Yassin 105 rocket in the Abasan al-Kabira area, east of Khan Yunis City.
• Targeted an Israeli force comprising four soldiers with an anti-personnel rocket, followed by clashes at point-blank range in Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Yunis City.
• Successfully ambushed an Israeli force in the vicinity of the University of Palestine in central Gaza, resulting in casualties.
• Shelled a gathering of Israeli forces south of the al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City with heavy-caliber mortar shells.
• In a joint operation with Omar al-Qassam Forces, shelled a gathering of Israeli forces south of the al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City with mortar shells.

Al-Quds Brigades' operations on Feb. 26:

• Sniped an Israeli regime soldier in the eastern part of Khan Yunis City.
• Shelled the "Kisufim" military site of the Israeli regime with a barrage of rockets.
• Shelled a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their vehicles south of the al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City with 60mm mortar shells.
• Shot down an Israeli military quadcopter drone during its spying operation in central Khan Yunis City.
• Targeted two Israeli military vehicles with RBGs near the Doulah intersection in the al-Zaytoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

Al-Aqsa Brigades' operations on Feb. 26:

• Sniped two Israeli soldiers east of Khan Yunis City.
• Shelled a gathering of Israeli soldiers and vehicles south of the al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City with 60mm mortar shells.

Mujahideen Brigades' operations on Feb. 26:

• Targeted gatherings of Israeli forces in southeast Gaza with short-range rockets.
• Shelled the Re'im site with a rocket barrage.
• Targeted an Israeli military bulldozer south of the al-Zaytoun neighborhood with an anti-armor "Sayyar" rocket.

Hezbollah's operations on Feb. 26:

Eastern sector:

• At around 3:10 local time, an Israeli force was targeted at the al-Baghdadi site with missiles.
• At around 9:20 local time, an Israeli Hermes 450 drone was shot down with a surface-to-air missile.
• At around 16:00 local time, the Golan Division headquarters in Nafah was targeted with sixty Katyusha rockets.
• At around 16:15 local time, a radar site in Shebaa was targeted with missiles.
• At around 16:20 local time, the Ruwaisat al-Alam site in Shebaa was targeted with missiles.
• At around 20:10 local time, Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the al-Marj site were targeted with missiles.
• At around 22:45 local time, surveillance equipment at the al-Abad site was targeted with appropriate weapons.

Western sector:

• At around 12:00 local time, Israeli soldiers at the Hadab Yarin site were targeted with missiles.
• At around 12:10 local time, the settlement of Shtola was targeted with missiles.
• At around 13:15 local time, the Beranit Barracks was targeted with missiles.
