Israel Gaza genocide

Khan Younis, the largest city in the southern Gaza Strip, has become a flashpoint for Israel’s ongoing genocidal war on the besieged territory. At least 50 Palestinians were killed and over 120 others injured in Israeli attacks in the past 24 hours in the city. The regime bombardments have also targeted the vicinity of several hospitals in Khan Yunis. The Israeli military has issued an order for over 500,000 Gazans to evacuate the area. The total death toll from more than three months of Israeli onslaught is at around 25,500.

Israeli losses

The Palestinian resistance movement of Hamas has released a video of its Monday’s retaliatory attacks in central Gaza that left 21 Israeli soldiers dead. The Israeli military spokesman confirmed the death of its soldiers after the rocket-propelled grenade hit a building in the al-Maghazi refugee camp. The troops were inside the building. Three soldiers were also killed in a separate Palestinian missile strike on an Israeli tank. More than a dozen troops were also injured on the same day. The resistance operation was the deadliest on invading forces since Israel launched its war on the besieged territory. The latest fatalities push the overall death toll among Israeli troops to 221 since the start of the ground invasion of Gaza. Last week, Israeli media reported that at least 4,000 troops have become disabled. Palestinians say the regime is undercounting the fatalities to avoid Israeli public outrage.

Raeisi Turkey visit

Iran’s President Ebrahim Raeisi has left for Ankara on an official visit at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Prior to his departure, the Iranian president told reporters that the trip is aimed at boosting bilateral ties, especially in the economic field. He said Tehran and Ankara are planning to increase mutual trade to 30 billion dollars annually. Raeisi noted that the two sides would sign key documents on the expansion of economic and trade relations during his day-long stay in Turkey. He said another important issue on the agenda would be the question of Palestine as well as the Israeli regime’s genocidal war on Gaza. He said Iran and Turkey both support Palestinians and the resistance front while demanding an immediate end to the Israeli crimes in Gaza.
