War in Ukraine

Report says Russia and Ukraine had tentatively agreed on peace deal in April but UK’s Prime Minister Johnson told Ukraine’s Zelensky in April not to negotiate with Russia.

According to the tentative agreement, Russia would withdraw to its positions before launching operation and Ukraine would promise not to seek NATO membership. Tentative Russia-Ukraine deal was a result of in-person talks held in Istanbul at end of March. Pressure from the West was the major factor in failure of Russia-Ukraine negotiations.

Press TV and panelists Don Debar, activist and commentator from Westchester, New York, and John Bosnitch, journalist and political analyst from Belgrade look at why peace in Russia-Ukraine conflict is not on the agenda of the West and the US.
