For the first time since the onset of the Covid pandemic, hundreds of people of faith and none, gathered in the shadow of north London’s Finsbury Park Mosque to enjoy a very public breaking of the fast. The Iftar backed by the local council and organised by Finsbury Park Mosque, Muslim Welfare House and British Muslim charity, Islamic Relief, it was an opportunity for the community to gather, celebrate and reflect.
