Amir-Hossein Ghazizadeh-Hashemi – ‘An administration seeking dialog with people’

Seyyed Amir-Hossein Ghazizadeh-Hashemi is a Principlist politician and member of the Parliament (Majlis), who has represented Mashhad and Kalat electoral district at Iran’s legislative chamber since 2008. He currently serves as the legislature’s first vice speaker.

Ghazizadeh-Hashemi is a member of the Front of Islamic Revolution Stability and formerly served as the Principlist party’s spokesperson.

Born in 1971 in Fariman, a city in Razavi Khorasan Province, Ghazizadeh-Hashemi is a surgeon and ENT specialist.

‘Dialogue with people tops agenda of administration of Islam’

He has published a presidential agenda, named “dialog between the administration and the people,” under the slogan of “the administration of peace.”

After registering his candidacy, Ghazizadeh-Hashemi said any individual seeking presidency should have a “transparent agenda” and work to bring together a strong team with enough capabilities to handle the country’s affairs.
