Trade showdown between EU and US

EU has that it’s “ready to react swiftly and appropriately in case our exports are affected by any restrictive trade measures by the United States.” The reaction came after U.S. President Trump on Sunday threatened to confront the EU over its “very unfair” trade policy toward the U.S.

In this edition of The Debate, Press TV has interviewed Sean O'Grady, the former economics editor of the Independent from London, and Brent Budowsky, a columnist with The Hill from Washington, to discuss the possibility of a trade war between the EU and the United States following Donald Trump's accusations of Europe's unfair trade policies' with US.
