Condemning Israeli terrorism

Iran has strongly condemned Israel’s "brazen" admission of the assassination of former Hamas chief, Ismail Haniyeh, in Tehran, calling it a heinous crime. Iran's permanent ambassador made the comment in a letter to the UN chief and the president of the Security Council. Amir Saeid Iravani said Israel’s confession underscores the international responsibility of the regime for its acts of terrorism and aggression. He said the regime’s admission also proves the legality of Iran’s defensive response back in October. Iravani reiterated that the occupying and terrorist regime of Israel remains the most serious threat to regional and international peace and security. He urged the UN Security Council to end the impunity of a regime that flagrantly defies international law and destabilizes the region. The Iranian envoy also warned that continued silence of the Council would only embolden this terrorist regime to commit more atrocious crimes.

US-Israeli Gaza genocide

The Israeli campaign of death and destruction in Gaza goes on unabated, as the regime’s military pounds the blockaded territory with more air and artillery strikes. In one of the latest attacks, at least three Palestinians were killed and several others injured after a house was bombed in Beit Hanoun, northern Gaza. A similar strike on a residential building in Jabalia, also in the north, killed nine. In the northwest of Gaza City, several Palestinians were killed in an airstrike on a group of civilians in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood. A pregnant woman was also killed in the bombing of a residential apartment near a Gaza City school, but her baby was rescued. To the south, several people were killed in the regime’s strike on a tent of displaced Palestinians in Khan Yunis. The Israeli genocide in Gaza has so far killed more than 45,300 Palestinians, leaving over 107,700 others injured.

Yemen US warning

A senior member of Yemen’s Ansarullah Movement has warned the US against its aggression in West Asia, saying there will be no red line in targeting American interests in the region if the US invades the Arab country. Mohammed Ali al-Houthi also addressed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, asserting that Yemenis have no fear of the regime or its empty threats. He also referred to the recent Yemeni operation in the Red Sea, which he said, forced the Americans to withdraw three aircraft carriers from Yemeni waters. He called the deployment of another warship, USS Harry S. Truman in the Red Sea, a declaration of war and a threat to Yemen's national security. The warning came a day after US Central Command, CENTCOM published images of sailors aboard the aircraft carrier, claiming that they were preparing to attack Yemen. Meanwhile, the spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces announced a new retaliatory air raid on an Israeli military target in Tel Aviv.
